...showstopping intensity on the nose with mineral-infused citrus fruit – a bouquet determined to put a gap between it and the premier crus. The palate is extremely well balanced, with an almost Oriental-like ripeness (Japanese yuzu perhaps?) This is an extravagant Chevalier-Montrachet – beautifully balanced with a really long, marmalade-tinged finish that is utterly glorious.
Fresh peach dominated by the new Seguin Moreau barrel on the nose. Densely packed and concentrated, with racy lemony acidity cutting through the oily stone fruit and spicy oak flavors.
Round and friendly... Just a good friendly try. Sounds like rugby? Lots of acidity.
