Axios was founded in 1999 by Constantine “Gus” Kalaris, who is also the founder and owner of Constantine Wines, a Washington D.C.-based wine distributor. Winemaker for Axios is Bob Egelhoff. The estate makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast grapes. The flagship wine is the Axios Cabernet Sauvignon.
