Numanthia-Termes was founded by the Eguren family of Spain in 1998. It is located in the Toro region of Spain. The 100-acre estate had its debut vintage in 2000. Numanthia-Termes quickly earned a reputation for outstanding reds, especially its flagship wine, Termanthia. In 2008 the estate was bought by Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, which also owns Chateau d’Yquem and Krug, among other luxury wine estates.
