...a somewhat chocolatey fragrance which after a long time in the glass took on strawberry-like fruitiness, still spicy after six hours. Fairly sweet, full, still assertive, notably tannic and with along, piquant, fruity extension.
The immediate impression is one of a fresh, sumptuous nose of cherry and currants.
The hallmark spice of a great La Tâche is present in spades with outstanding aromatic complexity... excellent concentration to the velvety and wonderfully rich flavors... wonderful depth... a mouth coating, delicious and hugely long finish.
... dark ruby color, followed by a smoky, oak-dominated nose with obvious ripe black fruit ...Medium to full-bodied, with excellent to outstanding concentration..
Good colour. Excellent nose. Very stylish, lovely fruit and balance. This has begun to close in a little and the attack is less difinitive than the finish. Long. Fine. Complex. Classy.
