Kirsch, blackberries, spiced meats, dried Provençal herbs, and plenty of peppery notes all give way to a rounded, ripe, voluptuous 2015 that has terrific purity of fruit, a mouthfilling texture, and a great finish.
Plump with personality, yet polished and well-structured, offering espresso, blackberry and licorice accents that finish with big but balanced tannins.
...wonderfully fleshy and seductive, with a bit more darkness and richness than is often the case. Then again, that is the style of the year. Wild cherry, sweet tobacco, licorice and dried herbs are front and center in this racy, inviting red.
A juicy and fruit red with tile, dark chocolate and walnut undertones. Full-bodied, layered and very intense. Shows so much red-soil character. Some roasted meat, too.
