Estimate
...very focused nose with hints of dandelion, bruised apple, orange rind and hazelnut, every swirl revealing another facet. The palate is very well-balanced with well-judged acidity...interwoven through the notes of citrus fruit, smoke and hazelnut...very cohesive, those (Saar) Riesling-like, petrol-like-notes surfacing toward the finish. Excellent.
Floral notes meld into honey, lemon peel, spice as the 2012 opens up. The brighter citrus peel-inflected notes typical of Bougros meld together with the more textured style of Vaudésir in a striking Chablis that impresses for its balance and completeness.
