Lancaster Estate is a 53-acre estate in the Alexander Valley appellation. It was founded in 1995 by Ted Simpkins, who at one time was an executive at Southern Wine & Spirits. In 2012 Simpkins sold Lancaster to Foley Family Wines, which owns about twenty small producers in Napa Valley and elsewhere. Lancaster makes Cabernet Sauvignon, red blends and Sauvignon Blanc.
