Domaine Tollot-Beaut & Fils was founded in 1880 and has been bottling under its own label since 1921. Today the estate is run by a trio of Tollot cousins, all fifth-generation vignerons, and is admired for its classic Burgundian winemaking.
Château Smith-Haut-Lafitte takes part of its name from an 18th-century owner from Scotland named Smith. The estate is today owned by Daniel Cathiard, a former French Olympic skier, and its wines are known for their elegance.
