Here’s Wine Advocate describing the 1996 Domaine Claude Dugat Charmes-Chambertin, which it rated at 97-99 pts: “...the combination of super-ripe candied red fruits and violets with virtually perfect precision and purity of flavors is mind-boggling. This complex, velvety-textured, chewy, and delineated wine is utterly extraordinary and other-worldly.” That’s one of many fines red and white Burgundies offered in this extraordinary collection, which also includes fine California Cabs and Chardonnays, some magnums, and numerous multiple-bottle lots in original wooden cases. If you collect Montrachet, here’s one for your cellar: 2002 Joseph Drouhin Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche, 6 bottles in Original Wooden Case, Wine Spectator 97 pts. Also here are Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from Bouchard Pere et Fils, Comte de Vogue and Bertrand Ambroise. From California we offer fine wines from Beringer, Heitz, Dominus and Pahlmeyer.
