The clarity of fruit is so impressive with blackberry and blueberry aromas and so many violets...full-bodied...very polished, strong tannins that are long and well-formed. There’s freshness and brightness, though.
Pure cassis and a little warmth on the nose together with baked, sweet pastries. The palate follows in the same vein with a rich chalkiness and more warming alcohol... Intense and long on the finish.
