Really, really lush wine, this drapes like velvet, with blackberry, black currant and dark cocoa aromas and flavors, and a long, smoke-and tar-driven finish that shows some serious grip...

Bright ruby. Superripe aromas of blackberry, bacon fat, violet and pepper; distinctly Cote-Rotie-like. Dense and ripe but dry, with lovely inner-mouth perfume of black fruits and violet. Very suave, insinuating shiraz...
