The tannins are firm and quite dry, yet it is perfectly entwined with the pure fruit that adopts a more red profile towards the almost Loire-like finish.
Dark berries, cherry pit and violet on the perfumed nose. Sappy, smoky and nicely concentrated but lithe as well, offering bitter cherry and cracked pepper flavors... Fine-grained tannins give shape to the spicy, very persistent finish.
